I'm Ken Nguyen, currently studying Computer Science (AI) at UNSW. I offer one-on-one tutoring in Mathematics (Advanced & Extension 1), and Software Engineering for high school and primary students.
I believe good tutoring isn't about handing over answers — it's about walking through the "why" behind a concept until it actually sticks. That's the approach I bring to every session: breaking problems down step by step, identifying exactly where a student's understanding is shaky, and building it back up properly so they're not just memorising, but genuinely getting it.
This comes from real experience — I currently work as a Robotics and Coding Instructor and have tutored students across multiple subjects, so I've learned how to read what each student actually needs, whether that's nailing the fundamentals, sharpening exam technique, or getting detailed feedback on their work.
No two students learn the same way, so no two sessions look the same. I tailor each lesson around the person in front of me, with one goal in mind: getting them to a point where the subject finally clicks, and they walk into their next assessment feeling ready.
