My students are not afraid to ask questions; they try their best to answer questions, and they know every mistake is another step toward improvement. I tailor my lessons so students are comfortable when the training wheels are off, or know they may not reach the final step they need. Improving comes from mistakes, not from guidance, and that's how I consistently improve my students' marks.
