Laura Deery

My teaching approach is centred around active learning, critical thinking, and student engagement. My lessons are highly interactive and tailored to each student's individual needs. Instead of relying on lectures, I use discussion-based learning, guided questioning, real-world examples, exam-style practice, and collaborative problem-solving to help students develop a deep understanding of concepts. During sessions, students are encouraged to explain their thinking, ask questions, challenge ideas, and apply knowledge in different contexts. I place a strong emphasis on exam strategy, essay writing and analytical skills.
