Hey, my name is Acelin and I am currently studying medicine at UNSW.

I am sure at this point, you have read paragraphs on paragraphs of people telling you why you should get tutored by them, so I'll keep it short and sweet.

I don't like memorisation.

I agree it is definitely necessary, particularly for content-heavy subjects such as physics and chemistry, but my teaching philosophy is simple.

Understanding will always trump memorisation, because exams will always reward application, not just recall. Once you understand the fundamentals, difficult questions just become problems you haven’t solved yet.
